Honea Path – Granted a town charter in 1855, Honea Path spans the borders of Anderson and Abbeville counties.

Honea Path has the distinction of being the smallest town in South Carolina and one of the smallest in the United States to construct a Carnegie Library. Built in 1908, the historic building is still in use as a branch of the Anderson County Library.

Billed as ‘The Little Town with as Big Heart,’ the population of Honea Path was 3,597 at the 2010 census.
