The Anderson County Museum Roper Research Room has books, manuscripts and photographs directly relating to the history of Anderson County dating from early settlement to the present.
While the majority of the collection directly relates to the history of the county, there are some genealogical resources available. Some resources which are currently on exhibit or being cataloged may not be available for closer examination.
The Roper Research Room is open to the public on Tuesdays from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. or by appointment. Call 864-260-4737 or request a research room appointment online.
