Junior League of Anderson County stages successful, socially distanced Trucks On Main

Date

In lieu of its annual Touch A Truck event, the Junior League of Anderson County on April 17 presented a safe and socially distanced event called Trucks On Main.

In partnership with the City of Anderson, this year’s event was a walking/driving tour of vehicles throughout downtown Anderson.

Members of the community had the opportunity to explore vehicles like fire trucks, law enforcement vehicles, construction equipment and agricultural machinery. And they were able to meet the men and women who build, protect and serve Anderson County.

Sponsorships helped make Trucks On Main a free event for the community and helped support the Junior League of Anderson County’s signature project, Seats for Safety – an initiative that provides proper car seating to families in need. Junior League has provided more than 300 car seats to Anderson area families. If you’d like to support Seats for Safety, click HERE.
