Tri-County Technical College hiring adjunct instructors

Have you ever considered a career in higher education? Tri-County Technical College presently is hiring adjunct instructors who are energetic, innovative and collaborative.

“We’re growing and looking to add quite a few students in the spring and with that comes available positions for adjunct professors,” said Brian Smith, Assistant Dean for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.


Adjunct instructors teach on a temporary, contract basis. A minimum bachelor’s degree is required, with some areas of study requiring a master’s degree to teach on an adjunct basis.

Tri-County Tech presently is hiring adjunct instructors for all divisions, including IT, advanced manufacturing, business and finance, health and medical, dental hygienists and assistants, economics, mathematics, truck driving, athletic training, power lineman, nursing, art and many other areas.

“These positions provide supplemental income and flexibility for a candidate,” Smith said. “We have daytime and nighttime hours available. If you have a passion teaching and a passion for students, Tri-County is where we want you to be.”
