Golden Years Jamboree moved to Friday, July 23
Due to inclement weather and wet conditions, the 6th Annual Golden Years Jamboree has been moved to Friday, July 23, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at The Village at Anderson Lights of Hope.
6th Annual Golden Years Jamboree set for July 21
When Kelly Jo Barnwell was hired to direct the senior center named for her mother, one of her primary goals was to relaunch the signature event that ran for 15 years under Jo Brown’s leadership. Golden Years Jamboree will celebrate the sixth year of its rebirth on July 21.
5th Annual Golden Years Jamboree is drive-thru senior expo on Nov. 4
A drive-thru senior expo at the Anderson County balloon launch field across from the Civic Center of Anderson will allow sponsors to meet, greet and give away items to attendees as they slowly drive by.
