Fall is in full swing across Anderson County and there’s plenty on the events calendar for those looking for things to do.

If you’re near West Pelzer this Thursday evening, you’ll want to stop by The Lincoln Taproom for a free oyster roast. You read that right. Get free oysters starting at 5:30 p.m. while they last and leave a donation in the jar to help the taproom reach its $5,000 donation goal for The LOT Project.

Meanwhile over in Iva, the food and fun continue on Thursday with the Town of Iva Chili Cook-Off. Celebrate fall in downtown Iva with a free chili tasting and live music by Band Silver.

If you’re looking for locally grown, fresh produce, visit the Anderson County Farmers Market at 402 N. Murray Avenue in Anderson on Thursday and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Speaking of farm fresh, the fun continues to flow over off Highway 76 between Anderson and Pendleton at Denver Downs Farm Fall Festival: Corn Maze, Pumpkins, Music & More. Hours are: Wednesdays-Thursdays, 10am-5pm; Friday & Saturdays: 10am-10pm; and Sundays: 1-6pm.

This Saturday and Sunday at the corn maze, Denver Downs presents its very first Mum Fest where you’ll find tons of mums, live music, barnyard bonfires, pig races and more. Go HERE for more information.

And this Saturday, Oct. 16,  in West Pelzer, Westy’s Antiques and Vintage Heirlooms will host its annual vintage market. Get Chick-fil-A biscuits and mimosas at 9 a.m., and enjoy shopping from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
