If you missed this year’s Seersucker Soiree Art Auction & Garden Party at Anderson Arts Center, you still have more opportunities to enjoy and support the arts in Anderson before the end of the year.
This year’s Seersucker Soiree welcomed 200 attendees and raised $15,000 for Arts Center operations, according to the Executive Director April Cameron.
“The auction is an annual event that has been a part of the Arts Center’s fundraising efforts for 38 years,” Cameron said. “As far as fundraising events go, this is the event that generates the most income for us. We are lucky to have many individual and corporate friends that see the value of art in our community and support us in fundraising events, as well as throughout the year as donors and patrons.”

Now underway at Anderson Arts Center until October 15 is Anderson Arts Guild Membership Show featuring Portraits Project by Jamie Hansen.

Coming December 10 to the Anderson Arts Center is an exhibit featuring the artist alumni of Anderson University. The exhibit will welcome a variety of mediums, 2-D and 3-D work. The multi-generational, multi-medium show seeks to highlight the numerous talented artists that are graduates of Anderson University.
